Qualifications
Double Honours Degree in Social Sciences (cum laude) and Accredited Mediator
Corlie had started her Human Resources/Labour Relations career, working at corporate companies and then taking the step, twenty years ago, to become an Independent Contractor which had given her the ability to look at Labour related issues through the eyes of both the employee and the employer.
Her aim is to provide small, medium and larger companies with effective solutions when the Employer is overwhelmed by the Labyrinth of Human Resources and Labour Law issues.
She is skilled in identifying and solving Labour related problems while guided by the BCEA, LRA, Sectoral Determinations and other relevant legislation in Human Resources related processes such as:
- Developing and implementing workplace policies and procedures
- Drawing up of employment contracts

- Charing grievance procedures
- Counselling
- Chairing Disciplinary and Incapacity Hearings
- Providing Hearings Minutes
- Investigating Misconduct

- Assisting in CCMA/Bargaining council preparation
- Consulting on retrenchment processes
- Drawing up of job descriptions

- Employment Equity Submissions
